under the weather

I am feeling yucky today. The cold that has been chasing me has finally hunted me down like prey and jumped on me...lol
I feel like I need something like the old nyquil commercial...achey,stuffey head, runney nose, fever...so you can rest medicine.
I haven't been in a talkative mood but one the producer for my album thinks I should blog.
I feel like blogging is like a journal entry...I hate when poets come to open mics and read their 15min long journal entries and try to pass that whack mess off as poetry.lol
so with that I will end my blog.

my head is...better yet my face is hurting!
I put a whole bunch of cayenne pepper and garlic in my soup today which caused a sneezing fit...my cousin dropped the roll of tissue underneath the couch...yuck!
So...tomorrow my blog should have a happier tone, or not.
I need a hug...and some cake....yeah that will make me feel much better.

Anticipating the cd release

This is my first blog on this site:
I am super excited about going home to the NW to release my debut solo project Only Love.
My most trusted friends and fan base are assisting me with the preparation. I refer to them as the Fuzzy Friend Network!!! Yaaaay!

I am in New Jersey nursing a cold that is trying to catch me...I am running away from it the best I can. I take a million milligrams of vitamin c, I drink plenty of fluids, I took every over the counter non drosey alcohol free cough medicine I could find and I put cayenne pepper with lemon in my tea. It is still chasing me...Geez!

I think the only thing makinf me feel happy is knowing that in a few weeks I will have a cool project to show the world. It has been a long and sometimes stressful process but I have learned and grown so much over the past few years.

I hope my blog didn't put anybody to sleep...lol and if it did I hope when you wake up you come to my release party.
